The Lamborghini Museum is opening its doors to the Huracán RWD donated to Pope Francis in the Vatican City last November 15 as the top management of the automotive company located in Sant’Agata Bolognese looked on.
This unique specimen made by the Ad Personam customization department of Automobili Lamborghini will remain on display until May 12, when it will be put up for auction by RM Sotheby’s. The proceeds will be donated to the Pontifical Foundation Aiuto alla Chiesa che Soffre (Aid to the Church in Need), to Pope John XXIII Community, to GICAM headed by Dr. Marco Lanzetta (hand surgery) and to the non-profit association Amici del Centrafrica (Friends of Central Africa).
The Huracán, in the shade of Bianco Monocerus (white) with Giallo Tiberino (yellow) stripes to honor the colors of the flag of the Vatican City, was personally autographed by Pope Francis.
